This is education, not advice
The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal medical consultation. It cannot tell you what is happening in your own body, whether treatment is appropriate for you, or how your body would have changed anyway if you had done nothing.
Waiting is a clinical decision
A great deal is sold to parents in the first year after birth on the argument that acting early prevents something later. In this year that argument is usually wrong: the body is still changing, and most of what is visible is a process that is already resolving. Postponing a plan until weight, cycles and feeding have settled is a decision with a reason behind it, not a refusal to decide.
Function comes before appearance
Symptoms such as leaking, heaviness, a bulge or pain are functional problems, and they are not treated by anything aimed at how the abdomen or the skin looks. They should be assessed by a clinician. Nothing on this site is a substitute for that assessment.
No outcome is guaranteed
Results vary with healing, feeding, sleep, how much weight is still changing and how much time is allowed. No outcome and no number of sessions can be promised, and choosing not to have treatment this year is a legitimate clinical decision rather than a lost opportunity.
